Variants
Three secondary-page treatments built from the homepage system.
The homepage stays minimal and central. These variants are for the pages that need to carry more navigation, context, or legal information while still using the same palette, type hierarchy, and editorial rhythm.
Variant A
Ledger
Best for the main archive. It reads like an index page, leaves room for metadata, and scales well as volume grows.

Gioia and Žižek Wrote the Same Essay This Week. Neither Knows It.
A music critic and a Slovenian philosopher both arrived at the same conclusion: AI has become a belief system, and Peter Thiel is its most dangerous theologian.

Hand-Crafted Skills Still Beat Auto-Generated Ones. The Research Proves It.
A new benchmark shows human-curated agent skills outperform self-generated ones by 16 percentage points. I just spent a week proving it accidentally.

FCR Weekly — The Floor Fell Out
FCR cleared at €3.94/MW before a five-day data outage killed the signal entirely. BESS revenue ran 20–84% below target. The EPEX spread held at €40/MWh but couldn't compensate. When your primary revenue stream disappears, what's left is a stress test.
Variant B
Journal
Best for category pages. It keeps the same typography but wraps each item in a light surface, so the route feels more like a curated landing page.

Variant C
Compact
Best for denser lists like dispatch or cross-links where the title should dominate and the page needs to stay fast to skim.
Recommended mix
Implemented by content type.
This is the production mapping: signals use compact, analysis uses ledger, and essays plus experiments use journal.

Hold Forever, Sell Never
Two non-American compounders — one in Toronto, one in Milan — are quietly inverting the LBO playbook. Buy, fix, hold forever. The asset class their existence implies is larger than the unicorn class, and almost nobody is pricing it correctly.

What Battery Arbitrage Teaches Us About Multi-Agent Architecture
The parallels between optimising battery storage dispatch and designing agentic AI systems are more than metaphorical. Both are fundamentally about making sequential decisions under uncertainty with imperfect information.
